My gas dryer runs but there is no heat — is it dangerous?
A no-heat gas dryer is usually a failed igniter or gas valve coil and is not a leak. If you smell gas, shut the gas valve, ventilate and call the gas utility first. Otherwise book a repair visit.
Why does my dryer keep blowing the thermal fuse?
A thermal fuse blows when the dryer overheats, almost always because the vent is restricted. A good repair replaces the fuse and clears the vent; replacing the fuse alone just repeats the failure.
